It' easy to get here!
During our summer activities, helicopter transfer is carried out from Deer Lake and takes guests directly from the nearby helicopter base to the lodges at Grey River, with an air time of approximately one hour. Numerous flights arrive this airport each day, with Halifax International Airport being the best connection to all major world air terminals.

Fall hunters will find it most convenient to fly into Deer Lake airport, where ground transportation to the helicopter base is supplied at no extra cost.

Access to NL by road is through North Sydney, Nova Scotia, where transport is by a large auto carrying ferry, which carries the traveler to Port aux Basques, NL. Ferry crossing time is between six and seven hours, and there are cabins available. Reservations are required (1-800-341-7981), with usually two departure times per day. Driving time to the fall heli base is two and one half hours and three and one half hours to Deer Lake, all being on paved highway. North Sydney is the easternmost point of the mainland Trans Canada Highway.
